JobsChachu respects the intellectual property rights of others and asks the same of everyone who uses this site. This page explains how to report material on jobschachu.com that you believe infringes your copyright, how the person who posted that material may respond, and what happens to those who infringe repeatedly. It follows the general framework of the United States Digital Millennium Copyright Act.
How to file a copyright notice
If you own a copyright, or are authorized to act for the owner, and you believe that material on this site infringes that copyright, you may send a written notice to our designated agent by email at dmca@jobschachu.com. To be valid, your notice must include all of the following:
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed. If a single notice covers several works, provide a representative list of them.
- Identification of the material you claim is infringing, including the exact infringing URL on this site, so that we can locate it. A general reference to the site as a whole is not enough.
- Your contact details, including your full name, your email address, and, where available, a mailing address and a telephone number at which you can be reached.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on the owner’s behalf.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
Please send complete notices. An incomplete notice can delay our response while we ask you for the missing information.
What we do when we receive a valid notice
When we receive a notice that meets the requirements above, we will review it and, where appropriate, remove or disable access to the material identified. Where we reasonably can, we will notify the person who posted the material that it has been removed and provide them with a copy of the notice, so that they have the chance to respond.
How to file a counter-notice
If your material was removed and you believe that the removal was a mistake, or that the material was misidentified, you may send a counter-notice to the same address, dmca@jobschachu.com. A valid counter-notice must include all of the following:
- Identification of the material that was removed and the location at which it appeared before it was removed.
- Your full name, your email address, and, where available, a mailing address and a telephone number.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief that the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate courts and will accept service of process from the party who filed the original notice, or from that party’s agent.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
General timeline
We aim to acknowledge complete notices and counter-notices within a few business days of receiving them, and to act on valid notices promptly. If we forward a valid counter-notice to the party who filed the original notice, the removed material may be restored after a waiting period of roughly ten to fourteen business days, unless that party informs us that they have filed a court action seeking to keep the material offline. Timelines can vary with the volume of requests and the complexity of a claim.
Repeat infringers
We maintain a repeat-infringer policy. Where a contributor or account is found, in appropriate circumstances, to infringe the copyright of others repeatedly, we will restrict or end their ability to contribute to this site. We may also decline to accept further material from a source that has a record of filing invalid or abusive notices.
